Born and raised in Kansas, I have always appreciated the natural beauty our state has to offer. The landscape is full of visions of life and a natural heritage, the legacy of natural objects and intangible attributes encompassing the countryside and natural environment, including flora and fauna. Kansas is rich with a cultural heritage through the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of our society as well as a traditional heritage visible through customs and practices inherited from our ancestors. I'm not a particularly verbose person. I think that's why I like taking pictures. They help me share my visions of the beauty of the earth and skies that Kansans have inherited.

What makes me stand out from others is my ability to notice things and my willingness to be attentive - careful - heedful - mindful - and respectful as I work as hard as it takes to make the best images possible. It's easy to work this hard when you have a sincere passion for what you do.
